Join the Riverside Interfaith Council and Make a Difference
At the Riverside Interfaith Council, we believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute, regardless of their ability to commit financially. That’s why we welcome you to participate in our community—whether as a full member, an organization, or simply as a community participant! No one is required to join as a full member or pay dues, but everyone is needed, and we welcome your voice and support.
Why We Need Your Support
Our council's mission of fostering understanding, collaboration, and service among faith traditions is only possible with the help of community members like you. While financial contributions help fund our events, outreach programs, and operational costs, the heart of our council is the people who bring their ideas, talents, and time to the table. To better serve everyone, we offer three levels of membership, so there’s a place for everyone, no matter what you can give!
Community Membership (Free Participation)
As a Community Member, you’re welcome to participate fully in our council’s activities. You can:
- Sit on planning committees
- Vote on proposals at council meetings (with the exception of executive board elections)
- Make your voice heard in shaping our initiatives
Full Membership (Dues or Service Commitment)
Full Members receive all the benefits of Community Membership PLUS the ability to:
- Vote in executive board elections
- Run for a position on the board
Organizational Membership (Faith Communities)
Organizational Membership is a fantastic way for local faith communities to support and get involved with the council. Local faith communities can support the council by becoming organizational members, ensuring that their faith's voice and perspective are included in our interfaith efforts.
What Is Helping Hands?
Helping Hands is a way to gain full membership through service instead of financial contribution. By assisting with at least one of our yearly events, whether by passing out information, helping direct parking, or other supportive roles, you can become a full member with all voting rights and the opportunity to run for a council office.
No matter how you choose to get involved, the Riverside Interfaith Council welcomes you with open arms. Together, we can build bridges of understanding and collaboration across our diverse faith traditions!
